Enable Eshal to Overcome Tetralogy of Fallot Through Heart Surgery

Eshal Fatima's Story
Since birth, Eshal Fatima, a 1-year-old girl from Multan, has struggled with shortness of breath, chest discomfort, and signs of fatigue. Her parents noticed early on that her skin often turned blue. Unlike other babies of her age, Eshal tires easily and cannot engage in normal physical activities without distress.
Concerned about her condition, her parents consulted a doctor at a local hospital. After performing a comprehensive diagnostic testing, the doctor diagnosed her with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF)—a serious congenital heart defect that disrupts the flow of oxygen-rich blood throughout the body. To correct this condition and restore her health, the doctor has recommended open-heart surgery for total correction.
If Eshal does not undergo this life-saving surgery, her condition may rapidly worsen. She may face chronic oxygen deficiency, developmental delays, heart failure, and other life-threatening complications. Early surgical intervention is essential for her survival and future well-being.
Eshal lives in a small house with her parents in Multan. Her father works at a local factory, earning just PKR 28,000 per month, which barely covers the family’s necessities. With utility bills of PKR 2,500 and other basic expenses, they are unable to afford the high cost of the surgery that can save their daughter’s life. During this challenging time, Eshal’s family has contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help. Eshal’s parents expressed their heartfelt plea as follows:
“Our little girl fights for every breath. As parents, nothing is more painful than watching our child suffer, knowing we can’t afford the treatment. Eshal’s heart surgery is beyond our financial means. Please help us give Eshal the life she deserves.”
Eshal is counting on your kindness. With your support, she can grow up healthy and strong, free from her heart illness.
Let’s join hands to repair Eshal’s heart defects and secure her future.
