Muhammad Habib Ullah's Story

From the moment he opened his eyes, Habib Ullah, a 5-year-old boy from Multan, struggled to see clearly. His parents noticed early on that something was wrong. He is unable to recognize faces, and has to hold objects close to his eyes to see them clearly. As he grew, his condition worsened, making simple daily tasks nearly impossible. His parents took him to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After performing a thorough examination, the doctor diagnosed him with Bilateral Aphakia—a condition where the natural lenses in his eyes are missing. To enable him to see clearly, the doctor has recommended Right Intraocular Lens (IOL) surgery. However, the surgical cost is out of his family’s financial capacity.

Without the surgery, Habib Ullah’s vision will remain severely impaired. His condition may lead to further complications and permanent visual disability. Without treatment, he will struggle to live an independent and fulfilling life.

Habib Ullah lives in a modest home with his parents and four siblings. His father, a daily wage laborer, earns only PKR 28,000 per month to support a family of six. He is the sole breadwinner, working hard to meet their basic needs. Their monthly expenses include PKR 2000 for utility bills and PKR 3000 for educational expenses. With such limited resources, they simply cannot afford the cost of their son’s eye surgery. During this challenging time, Habib Ullah’s family reached out to Transparent Hands.

His father said in despair:

“Every parent dreams of seeing their child grow, learn, and succeed. But my son cannot see the world properly. I feel helpless knowing that a surgery can change his life, yet I cannot afford it. Please help my son regain his vision.”

Your support can give Habib Ullah the gift of sight. With your kindness, he can finally see his family, play with other children, and start exploring the world. Please donate today and change his life forever.

Muhammad Habib Ullah's Story

Habib Ullah, a 5-year-old boy from Multan, struggled with blurry vision. Unlike other children, Habib couldn’t recognize faces from a distance and faced extreme difficulties while playing with his friends. As time passed, these visual challenges began to interfere with every aspect of his life. Worried about their son's future, Habib’s parents took him to a local hospital. There, after a detailed examination, the doctor diagnosed him with Bilateral Aphakia—a condition in which the natural lenses in both eyes are absent. The doctor recommended Right Intraocular Lens (IOL) implantation surgery to improve his eyesight. However, the cost of the surgery was far beyond what his family could afford.

Habib lives in a small home with his parents and four siblings. His father works as a daily wage laborer, earning just PKR 28,000 per month. This income is barely enough to cover food and basic needs for the family of six. With no savings or access to financial assistance, they felt hopeless. During their time of need, Habib’s family reached out to Transparent Hands for help. After reviewing the case, we registered his case.

On April 28, 2025, Habib was admitted to Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Hospital in Multan. On April 30, 2025, Dr. Asif Manzoor successfully performed the right IOL surgery. The procedure went smoothly, and Habib was discharged in stable condition on the same day of surgery.

Habib Ullah’s parents were glad, and they said: "We were losing hope, but the support we received changed everything. Our son can now see clearly and smile with confidence. Thank you for making this possible.”

After surgery, Habib Ullah’s world has become brighter and clearer. He can now engage with his surroundings and begin learning like other children.

We are deeply thankful to you for restoring his vision and bringing joy to Habib’s life.
