Enable Habib Ullah to See Clearly With Eye Surgery
Muhammad Habib Ullah's Story
From the moment he opened his eyes, Habib Ullah, a 5-year-old boy from Multan, struggled to see clearly. His parents noticed early on that something was wrong. He is unable to recognize faces, and has to hold objects close to his eyes to see them clearly. As he grew, his condition worsened, making simple daily tasks nearly impossible. His parents took him to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After performing a thorough examination, the doctor diagnosed him with Bilateral Aphakia—a condition where the natural lenses in his eyes are missing. To enable him to see clearly, the doctor has recommended Right Intraocular Lens (IOL) surgery. However, the surgical cost is out of his family’s financial capacity.
Without the surgery, Habib Ullah’s vision will remain severely impaired. His condition may lead to further complications and permanent visual disability. Without treatment, he will struggle to live an independent and fulfilling life.
Habib Ullah lives in a modest home with his parents and four siblings. His father, a daily wage laborer, earns only PKR 28,000 per month to support a family of six. He is the sole breadwinner, working hard to meet their basic needs. Their monthly expenses include PKR 2000 for utility bills and PKR 3000 for educational expenses. With such limited resources, they simply cannot afford the cost of their son’s eye surgery. During this challenging time, Habib Ullah’s family reached out to Transparent Hands.
His father said in despair:
“Every parent dreams of seeing their child grow, learn, and succeed. But my son cannot see the world properly. I feel helpless knowing that a surgery can change his life, yet I cannot afford it. Please help my son regain his vision.”
Your support can give Habib Ullah the gift of sight. With your kindness, he can finally see his family, play with other children, and start exploring the world. Please donate today and change his life forever.
