End Khalida’s Struggle with Uterine Bleeding

Khalida Parveen's Story
Khalida Parveen, a 49-year-old woman from Dadu, Sindh, has been experiencing heavy menstrual bleeding and persistent lower abdominal pain for the past three years. Despite trying various medicines prescribed by her doctor, her symptoms have not improved, leaving her physically weak and emotionally drained.
Recently, after another thorough check-up, Khalida was diagnosed with Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (DUB). It is a condition involving abnormal bleeding from the uterus, often due to hormonal imbalance or structural problems. Since medical treatment has failed to control her bleeding, her doctor has now advised her to undergo a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy with Bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy (TAH + BSO). This surgery involves removing the uterus along with both ovaries and fallopian tubes, which is crucial to stop the excessive bleeding and prevent further complications.
If Khalida does not undergo the surgery, her excessive bleeding may continue, causing dangerous drops in her blood levels. She may also develop serious health issues that might put her life at risk.
However, Khalida’s family is struggling with severe financial constraints. Her husband works as a security guard at a private company, earning only PKR 25,000 per month. They live in a modest rented house that costs them PKR 10,000 monthly, and their utility bills amount to PKR 3,000. Adding to their burden, the family has a loan of PKR 100,000. Her husband is the sole provider.
Khalida said in despair:
“I’ve been living in pain for so long, and it is becoming harder each day. I just want to get rid of this illness and live a healthy life. My husband can’t afford this surgery. I don’t have any option other than to seek help from you. Kindly support my surgery.”
Together, we can give Khalida relief from years of suffering and allow her to look after her family once again.
Give Sadaqah today and help Khalida take this crucial step towards a healthier life.
