Nazia Tanvir's Story

Nazia Tanvir, a 21-year-old woman from Okara, is approaching the birth of her third child. While this should be a time of joyful anticipation, it has instead become a period of deep worry for her family. Nazia is over 35 weeks pregnant and has a history of two previous C-sections. Due to this, her gynecologist has strongly recommended an elective C-section to avoid life-threatening complications.

Attempting a normal delivery may cause serious risks such as uterine rupture and severe bleeding. Without this planned surgery, both Nazia’s life and that of her baby will be in danger. Knowing this, her family is anxious, yet they find themselves in a situation where they cannot afford the cost of this essential procedure.

Nazia is a housewife and looks after her two young children at home. Her husband works hard as a laborer, bringing home only PKR 25,000 each month. With this meager income, they pay PKR 9,000 for house rent and PKR 6,000 for utility bills. On top of all this, they are burdened by a loan of PKR 100,000. Every month, their limited income barely covers food, rent, and other basic necessities, leaving nothing for medical expenses. During this challenging time, they have turned to Transparent Hands and asked for assistance.

With worry, Nazia said:

“I’m afraid that something may happen to me or my baby just because we have no money for the C-section. I want to be there for my children and welcome this new life into our family. Help us during this tough time.”

Nazia relies on your generosity. Donate now and play a significant part in bringing Nazia’s baby safely into the world.
