Aqeela Tariq's Story

Aqeela Tariq, a 36-year-old woman from Dera Ghazi Khan, is over 33 weeks pregnant. She is eagerly waiting to welcome her fourth child into the world. With each passing day, her joy is overshadowed by deep anxiety. Recently, Aqeela went to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. Due to her history of three C-sections, her doctor has advised an elective C-section. However, the cost of the C-section is out of her family’s financial capacity.

Without proper surgical intervention, both her and the baby’s life would be in danger. She may face severe complications including uterine rupture, excessive bleeding, and potential harm to her baby.

Aqeela is a housewife, dedicating all her time and energy to taking care of her home and children. Her husband, a daily wage laborer, earns only PKR 30,000 per month. With three children to support, every rupee goes towards food, rent, and other essential expenses. There is simply no way for them to save enough money for the C-section. The burden of this helplessness is overwhelming for Aqeela who only wishes for a safe and healthy birth for her child. With no other option, Aqeela has turned to Transparent Hands and asked for help.

With tears in her eyes, she shared:

“I have carried this child with love and care for months. Now the time has come, but I am afraid. I just want a safe delivery for my baby but my husband cannot afford the surgery. Please help me bring my child into this world safely.”

Aqeela’s life and the well-being of her baby depend on the C-section. With your kindness, we can ensure a safe delivery for her and bring comfort to a struggling family. She relies on your generosity and desperately asks for help.

Let’s join hands and give Aqeela the gift of a healthy childbirth.
