Nargis Tariq's Story

Nargis Tariq, a 28-year-old woman from Karachi, is in her third pregnancy and faces serious health risks. She is more than 25 weeks pregnant and has already had two C-sections in the past. While her heart is filled with excitement to welcome her new baby, it is also heavy with worries. Her doctor has advised her to undergo another C-section to avoid dangerous complications and ensure both mother and child’s safety. However, the cost of the C-section is beyond her husband’s financial capacity.

Without this surgery, Nargis will face life-threatening problems during delivery. Due to her previous C-sections, trying for a normal delivery puts her at high risk of uterine rupture and heavy bleeding. This can be extremely dangerous for both the mother and child.

Nargis’s life is already full of challenges. Her husband works as a loader in a private company and earns just PKR 25,000 each month. They live with their two young children in a small rented house where the monthly rent is PKR 5000. They also pay PKR 3,000 for utility bills every month, and their children’s madrassa fees amount to PKR 600. After covering these basic expenses, nothing is left to pay for Nargis’s much-needed surgery. During this difficult time, they have turned to Transparent Hands and asked for help.

Nargis said with tear-filled eyes:

“I worry every day about what the outcomes will be if I don’t get this surgery. My children are still so young, and they need me by their side. Kindly help us during this tough time so I can bring my baby safely into this world.”

Your kindness can make all the difference. Even a small act of charity from you can bring safety and relief to this struggling family. Donate now to help Nargis deliver her baby safely. Your support can fill her home with happiness.
