Ensure a Safe Delivery for Sapna
Sapna Bibi's Story
Meet Sapna, a 26-year-old woman from Karachi, who is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her third child. As she has already undergone two C-section surgeries, Sapna consulted a gynecologist regarding her current pregnancy. The gynecologist advised another C-section procedure to ensure that Sapna and her unborn child remain safe. In Sapna’s case, a vaginal delivery can cause multiple health complications and risks to her child’s health.
The C-section procedure is crucial for her as it may reduce the risk related to the birth of her baby. However, the overwhelming cost of the surgery is beyond her financial reach.
She is a housewife and lives in a 2-marla brick house with her husband and two children. Her husband is a daily wage laborer and earns just PKR 15000 monthly. Moreover, the cost of utility bills (PKR 7000), groceries, and other living expenses leave no room to pay for the necessary C-section surgery.
Her family reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for help.
Sapna said in grief:
“I am excited and nervous simultaneously as our financial hardships don’t allow us to pay for the surgery. I just want a safe delivery. I desperately need your help.”
Transparent Hands is committed to its mission of supporting patients like Sapna. The crucial C-section surgery will not only save Sapna’s life but also prevent potential complications for her baby. We need your contribution to provide Sapna with the care and help she needs.

Sapna Bibi's Story
Sapna, a 26-year-old woman from Karachi, faced a challenging moment in her life when she was pregnant with her third child. Sapna had already undergone two previous C-section surgeries, so she consulted a gynecologist. After performing a thorough examination, her doctor advised her to undergo a C-section again. However, the cost of the C-section was overwhelming for her family. Sapna lived in a small brick house with her husband and two children. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, worked as a daily wage laborer and earned just PKR 15000 monthly. With this meager monthly income, managing utility bills as well as food expenses was already a significant challenge. Sapna’s C-section was an additional financial burden for the family, making them despair. With two children already dependent on them, Sapna and her husband were overwhelmed and deeply concerned for her and the baby’s health. During this time of need, Sapna approached Transparent Hands. Understanding the critical nature of her case, we promptly registered Sapna’s case.
On November 27, 2024, Sapna was admitted to the Murshid Hospital in Karachi. Her C-section was performed by Dr. Farkhanda Saeed and Sapna gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Both the mother and baby were in good health, and Sapna was discharged after post-operative care and recovery on 29th November 2024.
Sapna expressed her joy by saying:
“Holding my baby in my arms feels like a miracle. Thank you for supporting us and making this possible. Your kindness has given us the most precious gift.”
Sapna feels immense pleasure and she is now ready to spend a healthy and happy life with her newborn. Your contributions ensured a safe delivery and brought immense happiness to this family. They are incredibly grateful to you for making a valuable difference in Sapna’s life.
