Give For Asma Manzoor’s C-Section

Asma Manzoor's Story
Asma Manzoor, a 27-year-old woman from Rahim Yar Khan, is currently 30 weeks pregnant. As she approaches the delivery time, her heart is filled with joy and worries simultaneously. Due to her history of two miscarriages, she knew the risk involved. She visited a doctor at a nearby hospital. Considering her medical history and potential complications she may face, her gynecologist planned an elective C-section for childbirth. However, the cost of the surgery is overwhelming for her family.
If Asma does not undergo the required C-section, she and her baby may face serious complications. Given her history of two miscarriages, a normal delivery may cause significant risks, including uterine rupture, excessive bleeding, and fetal distress. These complications can put both Asma and her baby’s lives in danger.
Asma lives in a small rented home with her husband and one child. Her husband, the sole breadwinner in the family, works at an office and brings in just PKR 20,000 per month. A significant portion of his income goes towards their house rent of PKR 7000, utility bills amounting to PKR 3000, as well as their food expenses. After covering these household expenses, they are left with nothing to set aside for Asma’s C-section. She and her husband are extremely concerned about their child’s safety as they don’t want to risk their unborn child’s life due to their financial limitations. With hope in their heart, Asma and her husband reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for help.
Asma’s husband said in despair:
“I work hard to cover our living expenses, but I can’t afford this C-section. No father wants to risk his child’s life, but right now, I am facing immense financial hardships. I humbly request you to be generous and help bring our child safely into this world.”
Transparent Hands has registered Asma’s case, but we need your support to ensure the safe arrival of her baby. Every contribution, no matter the amount, can make a valuable difference in her life.
Open your hearts and give for Asma’s C-section.
