Give for Ayesha Fatima’s Cataract Surgery
Ayesha Fatima's Story
Ayesha Fatima, an adorable 4-year-old girl from Khanewal, is facing an arduous battle with impaired vision. She has been diagnosed with a cataract in her right eye, which has caused her tremendous difficulty in seeing the world around her. To make matters worse, she has also recently developed a squint eye, leading to serious shortsightedness. Ayesha’s condition has taken a toll on her daily life, hindering her ability to learn, play, and experience the joys of childhood.
A team of dedicated doctors has recommended a crucial Cataract Surgery procedure known as (R) LMA + IOL for Ayesha. This procedure will help replace the cataract affected lense in her right eye, allowing her to regain clear vision and improve her quality of life. However, the cost of the surgery is beyond the means of Ayesha’s family.
Ayesha resides in a small house in Khanewal with her loving parents, one sister, and two brothers. Her father, the sole breadwinner, works in the fields and earns a meager income of PKR 20,000 per month. With most of the earnings allocated to putting food on the table, daily expenses, utility bills amounting to PKR 1500, and school fees, affording the surgical expenses for Ayesha’s treatment has become an impossible burden for the family.
