Hazrat BiBi's Story

Hazrat Bibi, a 51-year-old woman from Lahore, has been experiencing heavy menstrual bleeding for many years. The condition is accompanied by extreme menstrual pain, anemia, and fatigue. She was taking medications for her condition. Unfortunately, her condition became worse over time. Concerned about her health, Hazrat Bibi went to a doctor, who diagnosed her with Adenomyosis. It is a condition in which the tissue lining the uterus grows into the uterine wall, causing potential enlargement of the uterus. The doctor advised Total Abdominal Hysterectomy, a surgical procedure to remove the entire uterus and cervix through an incision in the lower abdomen.

Her condition causes intense menstrual cramps, leading to significant distress and discomfort during her menstrual cycle. She has become frail and always remains tired. She faces difficulty caring for her children and managing her household tasks. She lives in a 2-marla brick house with her large family. Her son, the sole breadwinner in the family, works as an auto driver and brings in just PKR 30,000 per month. With this insufficient monthly income, covering the utility bills of PKR 10,000 and other living expenses of the entire family is significantly challenging for her son. The overwhelming cost of surgery is far beyond their reach.

In this time of need, her family turned to Transparent Hands and asked us to register her case.

Hazrat Bibi said in despair:

“My condition brings me frustration and sadness. I want to get rid of this intense pain and bleeding. All I want is to lead a normal healthy life without any limitations. My son works to the point of exhaustion but his income covers our basic needs only. Please help me in undergoing the necessary surgery.”

Hazrat Bibi’s condition has negatively affected her health and overall quality of life. She is looking forward to your support.

The total Abdominal Hysterectomy surgery will make a significant improvement in her life and ease her pain and discomfort.  We urge you to come forward and donate now.

Hazrat BiBi's Story

Hazrat Bibi, a 51-year-old woman from Lahore, had been suffering from heavy menstrual bleeding and severe menstrual pain for several years. Her condition was accompanied by anemia and fatigue, making everyday life a struggle. Despite taking medications, her symptoms worsened over time.

Concerned for her well-being, Hazrat Bibi consulted a doctor. After performing a thorough examination, the doctor diagnosed her with Adenomyosis, a condition where the tissue lining the uterus grows into the uterine wall, potentially causing uterine enlargement. To address her deteriorating health, the doctor recommended a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy. However, the surgical cost was overwhelming for Hazrat Bibi’s family.

Hazrat Bibi’s condition caused cramps and discomfort, leaving her frail and unable to manage her household or care for her children. She lived in a modest 2-marla brick house with her joint family of 12 members. Her son worked as an auto driver and earned a modest income of PKR 30,000 per month. With a large family to support, it was challenging for them to even manage living expenses. In desperate need of help, Hazrat Bibi turned to Transparent Hands. Upon hearing her concerns, we registered her case.

On September 23, 2024, Hazrat Bibi was admitted to the Akram Medical Complex in Lahore. Her surgery was successfully performed by Dr. Asia Nasir on September 24, 2024. She remained under observation for two days and was discharged in stable condition on September 26, 2024.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Hazrat Bibi shared her emotions as follows: “This surgery has given me my life back. I can finally live without pain and discomfort. You supported me a lot. You truly changed my life.”

Today, Hazrat Bibi is recovering well and is ready to have a healthy life. She can now focus on her family and household without the constant distress of her condition. Her family is deeply thankful to you for supporting her treatment.
