Give for Saima Bibi’s C-Section
Saima Bibi's Story
In the bustling city of Karachi, Saima Bibi, a 37-year-old woman, eagerly awaits the arrival of her fourth child. However, her excitement is tinged with apprehension due to the challenges she faces. Saima has undergone three previous C-section deliveries, making her current pregnancy more complex. Yet, her unwavering determination to protect her unborn child is tested by the harsh realities of her family’s circumstances.
Saima and her caring husband, along with their three children in Karachi, reside in a humble rented house that offers them just one room. With the weight of financial responsibility solely resting on her husband’s shoulders, who earns a modest monthly income of PKR 20,000 as a daily wage laborer, their resources are stretched thin. House rent amounts to PKR 4,000, while utility bills add up to PKR 2,000. On top of these expenses, they are burdened by a significant loan repayment of PKR 600,000. It is in this confluence of limited means that Saima finds herself unable to afford the necessary surgical expenses for a safe delivery.
With a mixture of hope and desperation, Saima said in desair: “All I wish for is to give my unborn child the best possible start in life. The financial constraints we face threaten this dream. I humbly request your assistance to help us overcome these obstacles and grant our growing family a chance for a brighter future.”

Saima Bibi's Story
Saima Bibi, a 37-year-old mother of three from Karachi, faced a challenging moment during her fourth pregnancy. Having undergone three C-sections in the past, she knew the risks involved. When Saima visited her gynecologist, the doctor confirmed that due to her previous medical history, an elective C-section would be the safest option for both her and her baby. The risks of attempting a natural delivery after three surgeries were far too great, and the decision was made to proceed with an elective C-section. However, the surgical cost was overwhelming for Saima’s family.
Living in a rented house, the family struggled to make ends meet. As a housewife, Saima relied solely on her husband, who worked as a daily wage laborer, earning PKR 20,000 per month. With this insufficient monthly income, he barely covered house rent and basic necessities. The cost of the C-section surgery was entirely out of reach for him and Saima found herself in a hopeless situation. That’s when she turned to Transparent Hands and asked us for assistance. Understanding the critical nature of her situation, we registered her case. Through the support of our donors, we arranged Saima’s C-section surgery at one of our panel hospitals.
On 02-06-2024, Saima was admitted to Murshid Hospital in Karachi. The surgery took place on 03-06-2024. Dr. Samreen Bashir performed her C-section surgery. The procedure was performed successfully, and she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Saima was hospitalized for three days and received post-operative care. On 05-06-2024, she recovered and was discharged in satisfactory condition.
Saima was overwhelmed with happiness and expressed her joy as follows:
"I am so grateful to you for supporting me. We couldn’t afford the surgery, and I was worried for my baby’s safety. You saved us when we had no one else to turn to. I will always remember this kindness!"
Today, Saima is recovering well and can care for her family. Her life has been changed through your support. Saima and her family are incredibly grateful to you for helping them their time of need.
