Give For Sameen Hamid’s C-Section

Sameen Hamid's Story
Meet Sameen Hamid, a 29-year-old woman from Lahore, who is currently pregnant with her third child. She is approaching the end of her pregnancy, but her heart is filled with worries. When Sameen heard about her pregnancy, she promptly decided to consult a gynecologist at a local hospital. Due to her history of two C-sections, her doctor recommended an elective C-section for childbirth. This decision has been made to ensure the safety of both the mother and the baby. Unfortunately, the cost of the C-section is out of her financial capacity.
Without a C-section, both Sameen and her baby may face significant risks. It may lead to uterine rupture, excessive bleeding, and fetal distress.
Sameen lives in a modest home with her joint family of ten members. Sameen is a housewife who dedicates most of her time to caring for her two children and maintaining her household. Her husband works as a laboratory technician and earns PKR 45,000 per month. Most of their income is spent on utility bills, education, and groceries. They are left with no savings to pay for Sameen’s C-section. During this challenging time, Sameen’s family has reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for assistance.
Sameen’s husband said in despair:
“I work hard to the point of exhaustion, but my income barely covers our basic necessities. All I want is their safety—and for that, I need your help. Kindly help us bring our child into this world safely.”
Transparent Hands has registered Sameen’s case, but we need your support in providing her with a much-needed C-section. Sameen’s hope for a healthier future with her kids now rests in your hands. Your contributions, no matter how small or big, can make her C-section possible and enable her to embrace motherhood with joy once again.
Let’s join hands and support Sameen during this time of need.

Sameen Hamid's Story
Sameen Hamid, a 29-year-old woman from Lahore, faced a time that should have been filled with joy but was instead overshadowed by constant worry. Pregnant with her third child, Sameen knew from the beginning that her delivery would require special care. When she learned she was expecting again, she consulted a gynecologist at a local hospital. After carefully reviewing her medical history, which included two previous C-sections, her doctor advised her to undergo an elective C-section for this delivery as well. This recommendation was made to protect both her and her baby’s well-being.
However, the cost of this essential procedure was far beyond what Sameen’s family could afford. She lives in a modest home in Lahore with her joint family of ten members. As a devoted housewife, she spends her days caring for her two young children and managing the household. Her husband works as a laboratory technician and earns PKR 45,000 a month. Most of this income is already allocated to paying utility bills, covering their children’s education fees, and managing groceries for their large family. With so many responsibilities, setting aside money for Sameen’s critical surgery was simply not possible.
Desperate to ensure a safe delivery, Sameen’s family reached out to Transparent Hands. Seeing the nature of her situation, we quickly registered her case so she could receive the much-needed care.
On May 22, 2025, Sameen was admitted to Akram Medical Complex in Lahore. That same day, Dr. Asia performed her C-section, and Sameen delivered a healthy baby girl. After post-operative care, she was discharged in good health on May 23, 2025.
Sameen expressed her heartfelt feelings as follows: “Your generosity has lifted a huge burden from our hearts. With your support, I safely delivered my daughter and can now cherish these precious moments without fear. You have truly made a difference in our lives, and we will always be thankful.”
After a safe C-section, Sameen and her newborn daughter are both healthy and at home. Her family is immensely thankful to you for making a meaningful difference in her life.
