Samra Zain, a 38-year-old resident of Lahore, now nine months pregnant for the fifth time, had carried within her the dreams of a new life before. However, her journey was fraught with challenges almost every time. Previous medical complications had forced her to undergo two cesarean sections and one miscarriage. Unfortunately, now only her one child is alive. The doctor advised her to opt for a C-Section again for the safety of both herself and her unborn child. 

Samra, a primary school teacher by profession, lives in a rental house with her husband and one child. She is the only breadwinner for the family and earns only PKR 18,000 per month. Financially burdened and unable to afford the necessary surgical expenses, she finds herself caught in a web of stress and uncertainty. She also struggles to afford proper nutrition and medication. But Samra’s determination refused to waver, and she embarked on a quest for hope, seeking support from generous donors like you. She said with teary eyes:
