Samreen Saeed's Story

Samreen Saeed, a 31-year-old woman from Multan, is nearing the end of her pregnancy with hope and concern in her heart. Currently over 31 weeks pregnant, Samreen has already experienced two previous C-sections for childbirth. Due to her obstetric history (G3P2) and the risks associated with repeated C-sections, her gynecologist has advised her to undergo an elective C-section to ensure a safe and complication-free delivery. However, her family can’t afford her surgery.

Without this crucial surgery, Samreen faces serious risks such as uterine rupture, heavy bleeding, and potential harm to both herself and her unborn child.

Samreen is a dedicated housewife who manages the home while her husband works at a local clothing shop. He earns a modest income of just PKR 25,000 per month, which barely covers all household expenses. The couple has one child, and her husband is the only earning member of the family. They pay utility bills of PKR 5,000 each month and are burdened with a staggering loan of PKR 1,200,000, which adds immense pressure to their daily lives. With no savings at all, affording the expenses of a C-section seems impossible for them. Samreen and her husband are extremely worried as her due date draws closer. During this difficult time, they reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for help.

With pain in her voice, Samreen said:

“I just want to hold my baby in my arms safely, like any mother would. However, we face financial hardships and can’t afford this much-needed C-section. I request you to kindly help me in bringing my child safely into this world.”

This is a critical moment for Samreen and her family. Your generous contribution can ensure a safe delivery and a healthy future for both the mother and child.
