Give Razia Sultana Relief Through Herniotomy

Razia Sultana's Story
Razia Sultana, a 44-year-old woman from Hyderabad, has been suffering from persistent abdominal pain and swelling for the past four years. Two years ago, she underwent surgery for an umbilical hernia. While she had hoped for relief and recovery, her condition gradually worsened over time. A bulge reappeared near her surgical site, along with recurring pain and discomfort that now interfere with her daily routine. Worried about her health, Razia recently consulted a doctor at a local hospital. After a thorough examination and medical investigations, the doctor diagnosed her with an incisional hernia, a complication that developed at the site of her previous surgery. The doctor advised a mesh repair(herniotomy) to fix the hernia and prevent further damage or complications.
Razia’s condition has made it difficult for her to perform basic household tasks. The growing discomfort is affecting her mobility and well-being. Without surgical intervention, the hernia may lead to bowel obstruction, strangulation, or other life-threatening complications. Timely treatment is crucial to restore her health and prevent future risks.
Unfortunately, Razia and her family are not in a position to afford the cost of this surgery. Her husband is a daily wage laborer who earns around PKR 18,000 per month. They live in a small rented home with their three school-going children. With a limited income and rising utility and educational expenses, it is impossible for them to afford the medical costs on their own. Razia’s husband shared their helplessness by saying:
“I see my wife suffering every day, but I cannot do anything about it. My earnings barely cover our basic needs. I cannot afford her surgery, and I request you to help us during this time of need.”
Razia relies on your generosity, and she deserves to live a healthy life. Your contributions can help her regain her strength and overcome this discomfort.
Let’s stand with Razia and enable her to live a pain-free life again.
