Hammad Ali 's Story

Hammad awaits Cataract Removal Surgery. Before you proceed on to read the details of Hammad Ali’s case, know that your contribution will bring him comfort and he will be able to live like any other child again. We would humbly ask you to please contribute to this cause as much as you can and donate for Hammad’s Cataract removal surgery.

Hammad Ali, a six years old resident of Multan, has been experiencing short sightedness in his right eye.  He has also been bearing pain in his eyes for the last two months. The cause of his blurry vision was an accident that happened while Hammad was playing. He got hit by a stick in the eye and started experiencing pain and blurry vision after it. Hammad has been having extreme discomfort and short sightedness due to which he is unable to read and write at school too. When his parents took him for a consultation, the doctor ran a few diagnostic tests to evaluate his condition. After the results, the doctor diagnosed Hammad with right eye’s Cataract. In order to heal from this ailment, Hammad has been advised to undergo LMA of his right eye and placement of the intraocular lens (IOL).

LMA with an intraocular lens (IOL) is a brief surgical procedure where the cataract-affected lens inside the eye is removed, and replaced with an artificial lens in its place. Hammad’s father is a laborer and earns a meager amount of money that is merely enough to manage basic monthly expenses. In these bleak circumstances, it is impossible for Hammad’s father to afford the amount of his son’s surgery. Hammad’s father shared hi distress with us in the following manner:

“Hammad is my only child and not being able to provide for him has always been my biggest fear. Now that my son needs this procedure in order to heal from this blurry vision, my fear has come to life and I have not been able to arrange the money for his surgery. Transparent Hands is my last hope, please help my son get his vision back.”

Fortunately for Hammad, his case has been registered with Transparent Hands and we are determined to help him get back his vision and be able to live normally again. But, any of this will not be possible without your constant support and generous contributions. Hammad awaits Cataract removal surgery, hence, we urge you to please take part in this cause and donate for Hammad’s surgery as much as you can.
