Hassan Majeed, aged 21 years, a resident of Narrowal had a vascular compromise on his left leg. In  the beginning, he was facing difficulty in walking but after several days he was unable to even stand. His parents took him to a hospital. After evaluation, doctors advised him to undergo amputation of his left leg.  As it was difficult to curtail the infection, in order  to save his life, Hassan decided to go for the amputation. Soon after the operated wound healed, he was  suggested to recieve left above knee prosthesis in order to carry on daily errands normally. 

Unfortunately, his father is not able to pay for the prosthesis placement. His father is the sole breadwinner of the house with a small income of PKR 20,000. Feeding 8 family members with this income these days is very difficult. His father shared his ordeal in the following words:

 “Seeing my young son like this is the worst experience that any parent can have. He is not even 22 yet and imagine the pain he has endured. It is a nightmare to see him in this much pain. Please help him and our family.”
