Amjad Ali's Story

Amjad Ali, a 63-year-old resident of Lahore, is facing immense challenges as he battles with a cataract in his left eye, which severely impairs his vision. The condition has caused him significant difficulty in his daily life, hindering his ability to see clearly. To address this issue and alleviate his shortsightedness, his doctor has recommended Left Phaco + Intraocular Lens (IOL) surgery.

Amjad Ali lives in a small 2-marla house in Lahore with his wife and eight children. He is financially dependent on his son, who is the only breadwinner in the family. He works as a laborer earning approximately PKR 25,000 per month make it extremely difficult for him to afford the necessary treatment. His son has to pay utility bills amounting to PKR 2,000 and other household expenses further intensify the financial strain he face.

In the face of these daunting challenges, Amjad Ali seeks a glimmer of hope and the chance to regain his vision. He appeals to your compassionate hearts, saying:

“The darkness that engulfs my sight has cast a shadow over my life, making each day a struggle. I yearn to see the faces of my loved ones clearly and provide a better future for my children. In this difficult time, I humbly request your support.”
