Safia Ramzan's Story

“40 year old Safia Ramzan has small stones in both kidneys, which have been present for quite a long time. Safia started experiencing minor pain a few months ago because of these stones. She was admitted in Jinnah hospital where she was treated before and after Eid. However the doctor failed to completely remove these stones and they grew back after some time. This time the stones have grown in number and are causing extreme pain during the last 6 to 7 days.
Safia works as a cleaning lady at a house in her area. Her husband also works as a laborer and earns almost 800 PKR on daily wages, if he is able to find any task. They have two sons and three daughters, all uneducated. Safia was suggested to undergo lithotripsy treatment after her recent checkup but the cost mentioned is more than she can collect. Help Safia by paying for her lithotripsy treatment.
