Hassan Muhibb Ullah's Story

Hassan is a brave boy whose future hangs in the balance. Without the crucial surgery, he urgently needs, his life is overshadowed by the limitations imposed by his ailing heart. Your support today can be the turning point. Help fund Hassan’s cardiac surgery and offer him a chance at life, hope, and a brighter tomorrow.

Hassan, a 12-year-old resident of Quetta, is experiencing symptoms of shortness of breath and cyanosis, which are concerning indicators of his deteriorating health. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the parents promptly sought medical attention at a nearby hospital, where they were directed to consult with a cardiologist.

Following a series of diagnostic tests and a comprehensive evaluation, surgical intervention was necessary to address the Mitral valve disease. In 2021, Hassan underwent a mechanical mitral valve replacement (MVR). Unfortunately, subsequent complications arose as a paravalvular leak and aortic regurgitation developed due to perforation. To restore his cardiovascular health, the cardiac surgeon advised him to undergo Redo open-heart surgery to repair both the aortic valve (AV) and the mitral valve (MV). This surgical procedure will help him rectify the existing complications and ensure optimal cardiac function.

Hassan’s father holds the esteemed position of Imam in a Masjid, and his family is currently residing in a house provided by the Masjid committee. However, his father’s financial situation is not stable, and they have no other means of income. As a result, his father is unable to afford the necessary surgical expenses. He said in despair:

“In this moment of profound urgency, I request your compassionate assistance and support, recognizing that your generosity has the power to provide my beloved child with the required life-saving surgery, he desperately needs.”

His parents are extremely concerned about their son’s deteriorating condition and contacted Transparent Hands to register his case. We urge you to help fund Hassan’s cardiac surgery and add many years to his life.

Hassan Muhibb Ullah's Story

Hassan, a 12-year-old boy from Quetta, was grappling with the distressing symptoms of shortness of breath and cyanosis, indicating a worsening state of health. Recognizing the urgency, his parents wasted no time and sought medical attention at a nearby hospital, where they were referred to a skilled cardiologist.

After a series of diagnostic tests and a thorough evaluation, it became evident that surgical intervention was imperative to address Hassan's Mitral valve disease. In 2021, he underwent a mechanical mitral valve replacement (MVR) in hopes of finding relief. However, complications arose as a paravalvular leak and aortic regurgitation developed due to perforation. It was clear that Hassan needed a Redo open-heart surgery to repair both the aortic valve (AV) and the mitral valve (MV) to restore his cardiovascular health.

Hassan was admitted to Ittefaq Hospital,  Lahore, where Dr. Asim Khan, performed the Redo median sternotomy and meticulously repaired both the aortic valve and the mitral valve on 18-09-2023.  Hassan's seven-day stay at the hospital was marked by the compassionate care and dedication of the medical team.
