Malik Qadir Bakhsh's Story
Before you proceed to read the story, we want to let you know that you can make a difference. Your kind donation will help Malik Qadir walk again in no time, so please donate generously.
Sixty years old Malik Qadir Bakhs has been suffering from Arthritis for the last five years. Upon consultation, the local doctors tried to treat it with medication. But, unfortunately, the medicines could not provide the relief they promised. Over the years, Malik’s condition worsened to a point where he was unable to walk without discomfort. Now, he has been bedridden for months.
Seeing his condition, the doctor has advised him to undergo a total knee replacement surgery on his left leg to prevent further deterioration of his joint. However, unfortunately, Malik Qadir cannot afford the hefty cost of his surgery. Due to his withering age and deteriorating health, Malik Qadir cannot work. Thus, he is financially dependent on his sons. The monthly income of their household is no more than PKR 50,000 per month. This income barely covers the household expenses. One of his sons told us:
“My father used to be the life of the party. Now, he cannot even get up on his own feet. He barely sits up or talks to us now. I have never seen him more hopeless. Transparent Hands is the only flicker of hope present in our lives right now.
Malik Qadir and his son spent months in distress. They were beaming with happiness when we assured them that we would arrange for Malik’s surgery for free. We have registered their case. Now, all you have to do is click the button above and donate for Malik Qadir’s knee replacement surgery. Remember, whatever help you send his way will help Malik Qadir walk again, so please send help generously.
Disclaimer: Transparent Hands makes sure that all the patients get surgery in time. Malik Qadir Bakhsh's Story
Malik Qadir Bakhsh, aged 60 years, suffered from a roadside accident around eight years ago. His left leg got badly injured and was treated by a local dispenser. At the time, it healed temporarily. However, it started causing trouble again four years later and caused severe pain in his left hip. After a thorough investigation, Malik’s condition was diagnosed as arthritis and he was advised surgical intervention. For this purpose, he was admitted to Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Hospital and his total hip replacement surgery was performed by Dr. Muhammad Adeel Razzaq on 21.05.2021. He stayed in the hospital for thirteen days and was discharged in a stable condition. Malik’s hip pain has decreased significantly post-surgery. He wants to go for long walks once his leg recovers completely.
