His battle against bone cancer led to the heart-wrenching amputation of his left leg, shattering his dreams and leaving him struggling to find hope. Mujahid, a 30-year-old resident of Faisalabad, has been diagnosed with bone cancer in his left leg, which unfortunately progressed to infection, necessitating the amputation of his leg. Despite the doctor’s recommendation for a left leg above knee prosthesis to help him regain mobility and independence, Mujahid faces financial constraints that prevent him from affording the prosthetic limb.

He lives in a rented house with five family members.  He earns just PKR 13,000 per month. With this meager income, he cannot afford to pay for the artificial leg. He expressed his despair with the following words:

Mujahid’s path took a hopeful turn when he was referred to Transparent Hands, and after submitting his documents, his case has been registered with us.
