Musfira is a sweet and curious three-year-old girl residing in Matiari,Sindh, with her loving parents and younger sibling. Musfira’s journey has been shrouded in silence, as she has been grappling with hearing loss since birth. It was only when she turned one that her parents noticed her lack of response to their voices, prompting them to seek medical assistance. After thorough testing, Musfira was diagnosed with congenital sensorineural hearing loss, and her doctor recommended a life-changing solution: cochlear implant surgery.

A cochlear implant is a remarkable electronic device that has the potential to transform Musfira’s life. With this procedure, she will be able to learn, communicate effectively, and experience the joy of hearing her surroundings. The implant consists of both external and internal components, with the external portion processing sounds using a microphone before transmitting them to the implant in her ear.

Musfira’s family faces significant financial challenges. With a monthly income of just PKR 15,000, her parents are unable to afford the cost of the cochlear implant surgery.
