Muskan Nasir's Story

Muskan Nasir is a 22-year-old resident of Lahore, Pakistan. Muskan, a hardworking OT technician in a local hospital, is facing a daunting challenge in her life. Recently, she discovered a lump in her right breast, which understandably caused her great concern. Worried about her health, she promptly visited a general surgeon, who recommended a series of tests.

After a thorough evaluation, the doctor diagnosed Muskan with Fibroadenoma in her right breast. In Muskan’s case, the doctor advised her to undergo an Excision of Fibroadenoma, a surgical procedure that would remove the tumor and alleviate her concerns.

However, Muskan’s financial situation poses a significant challenge. With a limited income of 30,000 PKR per month, she struggles to meet her daily expenses, including utility bills, groceries, and her family’s needs.

To make matters worse, Muskan lives with her parents and brother in her uncle’s two-room house in Lahore, which provides limited space for everyone. Her father, a retired government employee, suffers from paralysis, rendering him unable to work and contribute financially. As a result, the burden of supporting the family falls primarily on Muskan and her brother.

Muskan said in despair:

“Life has dealt me a difficult hand, but I refuse to let it define me. I have dreams to pursue, loved ones to care for, and a passion for helping others. Fibroadenoma may be a roadblock, but with your support, it will not be the end of my journey.”
