Noshi Farman's Story

Noshi Farman, a 39-year-old woman from Lahore, has been experiencing irregular and heavy menstrual bleeding for a long time. In addition to these symptoms, she suffers from persistent pelvic pain, which makes daily activities challenging and her quality of life increasingly difficult. Noshi consulted a gynecologist, who conducted detailed medical evaluations. The doctor diagnosed her with a Fibroid Polyp in the uterus. These are abnormal growths within the uterus. To treat this condition and bring her relief, the doctor has advised a Polypectomy, a surgical procedure to remove the fibroid polyp. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is beyond her family’s capacity.

If Noshi does not receive the surgery soon, her condition may worsen. Continued heavy bleeding may lead to anemia, weakness, and an increased risk of infection. Delaying the procedure can also make future treatment more complicated.

Noshi lives in a modest rented home with her family. Her husband and father-in-law both work as laborers. Together, they earn around PKR 50,000 per month. Despite their hard work, they are burdened with high living expenses. The family pays PKR 29,000 for house rent and PKR 8000 for utility bills each month, leaving very little for unexpected medical costs. With such tight finances, arranging money for the surgery is simply not possible.

Noshi expressed her heartfelt plea as follows:

“I’ve been bearing this pain and discomfort for a long time, hoping it would pass. But it’s getting worse. I just want to be healthy again so I can take care of my family. We can’t afford this surgery on our own. Kindly help me during my time of need.”
