Rani Muhammad Khalid's Story

In the heart-wrenching journey of Rani, a resilient housewife from a humble background, lies a story of unwavering determination and the constant battle against adversity. She’s been suffering from pain in her leg for 4 years after she met with an accident that resulted in a broken femur. She couldn’t get adequate treatment and is unable to walk properly, and constant pain is making it more challenging for her. Please consider donating towards her surgery and help Rani walk again without pain.

Rani’s life took a tragic turn in 2019 when a road accident left her with a severely broken femur, robbing her of her ability to walk without pain. Despite seeking treatment from a local hospital, her suffering persisted, and she desperately needed life-changing surgery. Transparent Hands stands by Rani’s side, advocating for her well-being and striving to gather the necessary funds to cover the costs of her Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) surgery, which includes Screw Fixation and removal of the IM Nail. The surgery will fix her femur bone, eliminating her pain and helping her walk properly again.

Rani’s life revolves around her modest family, consisting of nine members, living in a rented house. Her husband, unfortunately, remains jobless, and only one of her sons, earning a meager income of PKR 16,000 per month, shoulders the burden of providing for the entire family. In the face of economic hardships, affording the necessary surgery expenses is an insurmountable challenge for this struggling family.

Rani’s heartrending plea echoes through the depths of her struggle:

“My life has been filled with unbearable pain for the past four years. Every day, I yearn to walk without pain and embrace the simple joys of life. I appeal to your kindness and generosity to help me undergo the necessary surgery. Your donation may change my life.”

Rani Muhammad Khalid's Story

Rani Muhammad, a 49-year-old resident of Karachi, had suffered four years of excruciating leg pain. Her life took a tragic turn in 2019 when a devastating road accident left her with a severely broken femur, rendering her unable to walk without enduring intense discomfort. Despite seeking medical attention at a local hospital, her suffering persisted, leaving her desperate for a solution. It was then that her doctor recommended she undergo Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) surgery, which involved Screw Fixation and removal of the Intramedullary (IM) Nail. The surgery offered the hope of restoring her femur bone, relieving her pain, and enabling her to walk properly once more.

However, Rani faced a significant obstacle in the form of financial hardship. The cost of the necessary surgery seemed too much for her, leaving her feeling helpless. In her time of need, she reached out to Transparent Hands. With their support, she was able to register her case and was subsequently admitted to Murshid Hospital, Karachi.

Dr. Vikash Kumar skillfully operated, on 17-06-2023. The operation fixed Rani's femur bone and also removed of IM Nail which alleviated her pain. After four days of post-operative care and recovery, she was discharged from the hospital. Dr. Kumar advised Rani to schedule a follow-up check-up after one week to monitor her progress.

The impact of the surgery on Rani's health and overall well-being cannot be overstated. The successful procedure not only eliminated her debilitating pain but also restored her ability to walk without assistance.

Rani's gratitude towards her generous donors is immeasurable. She recognizes that their kindness and support have been instrumental in her journey toward recovery and reclaiming her quality of life. With heartfelt appreciation, Rani extends her deepest thanks to the compassionate individuals who selflessly contributed to her surgery expenses.
