Rasheeda Bibi's Story

Rasheeda, a 50-year-old resident of Karachi, Pakistan, is in desperate need of our support. For the past eight months, she has been silently suffering from bleeding during bowel movements and chronic constipation. Rasheeda sought medical assistance from local doctors, but the medications provided only temporary relief. Determined to find a lasting solution, she recently visited a local hospital, where, after a thorough examination, the doctor recommended a lateral sphincterotomy surgery as the most viable treatment option for her.

Unfortunately, Rasheeda’s financial circumstances pose a significant obstacle to her receiving the medical care she desperately needs. As a housewife, she is entirely dependent on her husband, who is currently jobless. Their only source of income is their son, who works as a labourer and earns a modest monthly salary of 25,000 PKR. The family’s financial burden is overwhelming, and they simply cannot afford the cost of the necessary surgery. Rasheeda’s dreams of a pain-free life and the ability to care for her family hang in the balance.

Rasheeda humbly appeals to kind-hearted donors for their support. “I long for the opportunity to regain my health and provide a better future for my family. Your generous contribution, no matter how small, can make an incredible difference.”

Your support will bring hope to Rasheeda’s darkest moments and help her embark on a journey towards healing and recovery. By donating today, you can stand by Rasheeda’s side as she seeks a brighter, healthier future. Let us show Rasheeda that she is not alone in her struggle, and together, we can make a tangible difference in her life. Your generosity will not only alleviate her physical pain but also provide her with the opportunity to continue being a devoted mother to her children and a pillar of support in her family. Rasheeda Bibi's Story

Rasheeda, a 50-year-old resident of Karachi, Pakistan, had been silently enduring the pain and discomfort of bleeding during bowel movements and chronic constipation for the past eight months. Seeking relief, she turned to various local doctors, hoping to find a solution to her suffering. Unfortunately, the prescribed medications provided only temporary respite, leaving her in search of a more permanent remedy.

Determined to find a lasting solution to her condition, Rasheeda recently visited a local hospital for further medical assistance. After a thorough examination, the doctor recommended a lateral sphincterotomy surgery as the most viable and effective treatment option for her. This procedure involved the surgical division of the anal sphincter muscle, aiming to alleviate her symptoms and provide her with long-awaited relief.

However, Rasheeda faced a significant obstacle on her path to recovery – her financial circumstances. The cost of the surgery seemed insurmountable, casting a shadow of uncertainty over her hopes for a better quality of life. Realizing the gravity of her situation, Rasheeda reached out to Transparent Hands.

Transparent Hands swiftly responded to Rasheeda's plea, recognizing the urgency of her situation and the impact that the surgery could have on her well-being. Through their collective efforts and the generosity of their donors, they ensured that Rasheeda could receive the medical care she so desperately needed.

She was admitted to  Murshid Hospital, Karachi, where her operation was successfully performed by Dr. Nida on 15-11-2023. She was discharged from the hospital after one day. The procedure addressed the underlying issues causing Rasheeda's symptoms, paving the way for a healthier and more comfortable future.

The successful operation not only alleviated her physical discomfort but also brought her peace of mind, knowing that she had taken a significant step towards regaining her quality of life. Rasheeda expresses her deepest gratitude to Transparent Hands and all the generous donors who made her surgery possible.
