Romaisa Shah's Story

Romaisa Shah is a sweet 4-year-old girl from Peshawar, KPK, who has been deaf since birth, a condition that has posed significant challenges in her life. Her parents first learned about her hearing loss when she was just one year old. After running some diagnostic tests, her doctor advised cochlear implant surgery as the solution. However, her family is facing several financial difficulties, and they can’t pay for her treatment.

She lives in a rented house in Peshawar with eight family members. Her father is the sole breadwinner in the family and earns just PKR 18,000 monthly. With this limited income, he struggles to make ends meet. After paying the house rent and utility bills, they are left with no savings, making it impossible for him to cover the expenses for his beloved daughter’s treatment.

Romaisa’s father expresses his heartfelt plea to generous donors:

“As a father, witnessing my daughter’s struggle with deafness breaks my heart. I dream of the day when she can hear the laughter of her loved ones and the world around her. Your support can make this dream a reality for Romaisa.”

In their time of need, Romaisa’s family reached out to Transparent Hands, seeking assistance in their journey toward restoring her hearing. We are committed to this cause, and determined to raise the necessary funds to help Romaisa with cochlear implant surgery.
