Muhammad Sameer Hayat, a one-year-old boy residing in Sargodha, had been leading a silent and isolated life due to his hearing impairment. His parents first noticed his hearing loss when he was just a few months old and promptly took him to the local hospital for tests. Following a consultation, the doctors diagnosed Sameer with sensorineural hearing loss and recommended cochlear implant surgery as the most effective solution.

There, a highly skilled surgeon, Dr. Jawad Ahmed successfully implanted the internal component of the cochlear implant on April 1, 2024. Remarkably, just one day later, Sameer was discharged from the hospital.

Over the next six weeks, the external implant was installed, and Sameer began attending scheduled speech therapy sessions. These sessions held the promise of restoring the wonders of sound to Sameer's life. The joy experienced by his parents knew no bounds as they witnessed their innocent son's transformation.
