Help Sameer Hear a World of Possibilities
Muhammad Sameer Hayat's Story
Muhammad Sameer Hayat, a one-year-old resident of Sargodha, has been living a life of silence and isolation due to his hearing impairment. The absence of sound has created a deep longing for connection and has made it challenging for him to find his place in society. Sadly, his family’s financial situation, with his father earning only 25,000 PKR per month as the sole breadwinner, prevents them from affording the costly surgical treatment that could restore Sameer’s hearing.
Sameer’s parents noticed his hearing loss when he was just a few months old and took him to the local hospital for tests. After a consultation, he was diagnosed with sensorineural hearing loss, and the doctor recommended cochlear implant surgery as the best solution.
Living in a small house with his parents and three siblings, Sameer’s family faces significant financial constraints. His father, despite working hard, cannot afford the expenses of the surgical procedure.
Despairingly, he expressed:
“Our son desperately needs surgery to regain his hearing. We yearn for Sameer to be able to interact with us and play like other children his age, but his hearing impairment is causing him significant difficulties. We humbly request your support and donations.”
Sameer’s father has reached out to Transparent Hands, hoping to register his son’s case. They are anxiously waiting for the opportunity for Sameer to undergo cochlear implant surgery, which could open up a whole new world of sounds and experiences for him. Your generous financial support can make an immense difference in his life, allowing him to enjoy the simple pleasure of connecting with others through sound. Please consider making a donation and becoming a part of this transformative journey for Sameer. He eagerly awaits cochlear implant surgery to embrace the world of sounds and find his place in it.
