Shamim Bibi's Story

Shamim, a 32-year-old resident of Karachi, is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her fourth child. However, her journey to motherhood has been marked by challenges, as she has already undergone three previous cesarean sections. Shamim, a devoted housewife, relies on her husband’s income as the family’s sole breadwinner.

Her husband, a daily wager, brings home a monthly income of PKR 30,000. The family resides in a rented house, and their financial condition is far from stable. With utility bills amounting to PKR 8,000 and school fees of PKR 3,000, the family is barely making ends meet. Shamim’s husband is the sole provider for their family of five, including their three children. The limited resources have left the family feeling anxious and uncertain about the impending delivery.

In a heartfelt plea, Shamim expresses her concerns: “I am filled with a mixture of joy and worry as I approach this new chapter of my life. The thought of welcoming our fourth child brings me immense happiness, but the financial burden weighs heavily on my mind. With my previous C-sections, I know the importance of a safe delivery, yet I fear that the medical expenses may be beyond our means. Your support could make all the difference, not just for me, but for the future of my family.” Shamim’s financial circumstances have left her unable to afford the surgical expenses associated with her scheduled cesarean section.

The family’s limited resources have placed a significant strain on their well-being, leaving them in need of assistance. Your generous contributions can alleviate the financial burden and ensure that Shamim receives the care she needs during this critical time. No amount is too small, and every donation will directly contribute to covering the medical expenses associated with her C-section delivery.
