Help Sonia Raheel Welcome Her Baby Safely

Sonia Raheel's Story
Sonia Raheel, a 24-year-old woman from Lahore, is currently pregnant with her second child. With her due date approaching and her obstetric history of G2P1, her gynecologist has recommended an elective C-section to ensure a safe and smooth delivery. Given her history of one C-section and current medical condition, this planned C-section is essential for both her safety and the baby’s well-being.
If Sonia does not undergo the advised C-section, she may face significant risks, including obstructed labor or uterine rupture. However, Sonia and her husband are facing severe financial challenges and can’t afford this C-section.
Sonia lives in a modest rented home with her husband and one child. Her husband works at a bakery and also serves as a delivery rider, managing to earn a monthly income of PKR 50,000. Despite holding two jobs to make ends meet, the couple struggles to keep up with their household expenses. They hardly pay PKR 12,000 for house rent monthly, along with utility bills, food, and costs related to raising their first child.
Their financial condition leaves them unable to save for Sonia’s delivery. The cost of the C-section, including hospital charges, medication, and post-surgery care, is beyond what they can afford. The fear of not being able to afford this necessary medical procedure has left Sonia and her family under emotional and financial stress. Sonia said in despair:
“I just want to ensure my baby comes into this world safely. However, the cost of the surgery is more than I can manage. I never imagined I’d have to ask for help like this, but I am left with no other choice. Kindly support my C-section.”
Your help can make all the difference. By contributing to Sonia’s C-section, you can ensure a safe delivery for her and a healthy start for her baby. Your generosity can be the reason this baby arrives safely in its mother’s arms.
