Yasir Ali 's Story

Yasir’s disability has not only impacted him physically but has also taken a toll on his emotional well-being. He experiences feelings of being a burden on his family and has suffered a loss of self-esteem. He used to be an active member of his family, but now he feels isolated and powerless. However, despite these challenges, he is determined to overcome his disability and lead a meaningful life. He holds out hope that compassionate donors like yourself will support him in obtaining the artificial leg he needs to regain his independence and restore his sense of dignity. Your donation can help Yasir regain his mobility and get back on his feet.

Yasir, a 16-year-old resident of Hafizabad, injured his right leg in a traffic accident one year ago. He was taken to the emergency room of a local hospital for first aid. His leg was badly crushed, and the doctor could not save it. The doctor had to amputate his leg below the knee. He needs an artificial leg to walk.

He lives with his parents and four siblings in a small house. With the limited income of PKR 10,000 monthly, it is difficult for his father to pay for an artificial leg. Yasir said it in a depressed tone:

“A life-altering accident left me broken, physically and emotionally. Now, I need your financial support to heal and regain my sense of wholeness. Your kindness can help me find hope amidst the darkness. Your donations can provide me with an artificial arm and the chance to reclaim my independence and purpose in life.”

After approaching Transparent Hands, he completed the necessary paperwork to register his case. We have made a commitment to provide him with an artificial leg. However, without your invaluable support, arranging the necessary funds would not be possible  We request you to come forward and donate to help Yasir regain his mobility.

Yasir Ali 's Story

Yasir Ali, a resilient 16-year-old from Hafizabad, became the victim of a devastating traffic accident that left his right leg badly crushed, beyond the point of salvation. Rushed to the local hospital's emergency room, Yasir's only hope for survival lay in the doctor's decision to amputate his leg below the knee, forever altering the course of his life.

The loss of his leg plunged Yasir Ali into a world of uncertainty and challenges. Simple tasks that were once taken for granted now seemed insurmountable. Yasir's dreams of an active and independent life became overshadowed by the financial constraints faced by his family. In a modest house shared with his parents and four siblings, their monthly income of PKR 10,000 posed a significant obstacle to affording an artificial leg.

Seeking a glimmer of hope, Yasir turned to Transparent Hands, an organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to those in need. Recognizing the importance of mobility and independence, Transparent Hands took Yasir's case to heart and embarked on a mission to help him regain his ability to walk and embrace life anew.

Through the unwavering support of compassionate donors, Yasir's dreams began to materialize. Generous contributions were made to provide him with an artificial leg, offering a lifeline of hope in the face of adversity. The kindness extended beyond financial aid; it breathed life into Yasir's aspirations, empowering him to redefine his future and overcome the challenges that lay ahead.

Under the expert supervision of Dr. Khalid Niaz at the Hope Rehabilitation Centre, Yasir's journey to reclaim his mobility reached a critical juncture. On the 6th of September 2023, his right leg was fitted with a prosthetic limb. Yasir Ali and his family extend their deepest gratitude to Transparent Hands and the compassionate donors who transformed their lives.
