Muzamil Khan, a 2-year-old boy from Bhakkar, has been experiencing shortness of breath, chest discomfort, and his body struggles to keep up with even mild to moderate physical activity. Due to his illness, he is unable to gain proper weight like other children of his age. Recently, his parents took him to a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After a detailed medical evaluation, the doctor diagnosed Muzamil with Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) and Left Ventricular Volume Overload (LVVO).

These are heart defects that put an immense load on his heart and restrict its ability to pump blood effectively. To treat this issue, the doctor advised VSD closure surgery. Without surgical intervention, his condition will continue to worsen, threatening his chances of survival.

Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery is overwhelming for Muzamil’s family. He lives in a modest home with his four family members. His father, the sole breadwinner in the family, is a daily wage laborer and earns just PKR 15,000 per month. After covering their utility bills, food, and living expenses, they are left with nothing to save for such an expensive medical procedure. Muzamil’s parents are left heartbroken, watching their little boy suffer every day without the means to help him.

Muzamil’s parents said in despair:

“We can’t bear to see our son in this condition anymore. Every night, he struggles with his heart complications and cannot live a healthy life. We are already living in poverty, and the cost of this surgery is far beyond our reach. Kindly donate for Muzamil’s heart surgery.”
