Zarbat Khan's Story

Zarbat Khan, a 30-year-old man from Karachi, has been experiencing persistent breathing difficulties for the past six years. What began as occasional nasal blockage has now turned into a constant struggle to breathe comfortably through his nose. This long-standing discomfort has significantly affected his daily life, causing sleepless nights, fatigue, and trouble concentrating at work. After consulting with a medical specialist, Zarbat was diagnosed with Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS). It is a condition where the nasal septum is displaced, blocking airflow and causing chronic congestion. His doctor has recommended Septoplasty, a surgical procedure to straighten the septum and restore proper breathing.

If Zarbat does not receive the surgery soon, the consequences can be harsh. His condition may worsen, leading to chronic respiratory issues, frequent sinus infections, and sleep apnea.

Zarbat lives in a modest rented home with his wife and three children. He works as a quality control officer at a garments company and earns a monthly salary of PKR 37,000. His oldest child is currently attending school. The family lives in a rented house with a monthly rent of PKR 10,000, and their utility bills total around PKR 5,000 per month. Additionally, Zarbat is burdened with a loan of PKR 120,000, further limiting his ability to save for medical treatments.

Educational expenses and daily living costs continue to strain the family’s limited budget, making it impossible for Zarbat to meet the cost of this surgery on his own. With no other means to afford this essential procedure, Zarbat has turned to Transparent Hands for help.

Zarbat described his emotions as follows:

“It’s been years since I’ve had a good night’s sleep. Breathing has become a daily struggle. I work hard to support my family, but I can’t manage the cost of the surgery. Kindly help me during this time of need.”

With your generous contribution, Zarbat can finally find relief from his suffering and return to a more active life. Your support can make a lasting difference.

Give charity and help Zarbat breathe freely again.
