Let’s Make Rakhshanda’s Kidney Surgery Possible

Rakhshanda Jabeen's Story
Rakhshanda Jabeen, a 39-year-old woman from Islamabad, has been suffering from persistent pain in her right flank for the past few months. The pain often intensifies to the point where it becomes hard for her to carry out her daily household responsibilities. Alongside the pain, she suffers from nausea and vomiting, which leave her physically drained. Concerned about her worsening condition, Rakhshanda visited a local hospital. After a detailed medical examination, the doctor diagnosed her with right kidney stones. Kidney stones are hard deposits that form in the kidneys and can obstruct the flow of urine, leading to severe discomfort and infections.
To prevent complications, her doctor has recommended a procedure known as Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL), which involves the removal of these stones through a small incision in the back. Unfortunately, the cost of this essential surgery is beyond Rakhshanda’s reach.
If Rakhshanda does not undergo this procedure soon, her condition will become far more serious. It may lead to recurring infections, permanent kidney damage, or even complete kidney failure, turning a treatable issue into a life-threatening situation.
Rakhshanda is a dedicated housewife, managing the needs of her family of five, including her three school-going children. Her husband is a delivery rider, earning around PKR 30,000 each month. The family’s limited income barely covers household expenses, including food and utility bills. With no savings to rely on and no means to arrange money, they are left feeling helpless.
Rakhshanda shared her plea as follows:
“This constant pain makes even simple tasks difficult. I just want to be healthy again for my children. We’ve tried everything within our means, but we can’t afford this surgery. I need your help so I can get treated and look after my family.”
Your support can give Rakhshanda relief from her daily pain and protect her from severe health complications. Extend your support today and help her regain a healthy, pain-free life.
Let’s join hands and change Rakhshanda’s life with surgery.
