Let’s Provide a Safe C-Section to Remla Moin

Remla Moin's Story
Remla Moin, a 17-year-old girl from Karachi, is facing a critical point in her life. She is over 31 weeks pregnant and this is her first child. This is a time that should be filled with excitement and hope. However, Remla’s pregnancy is considered high-risk due to pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH). This condition puts both her life and that of the baby at greater risk. After careful monitoring, her doctor has advised her to undergo a C-section to ensure a safe delivery. However, her family can’t afford her surgery.
Without this essential procedure, Remla may face severe complications during childbirth. Pregnancy-induced hypertension may lead to dangerously high blood pressure, reduced blood flow to the placenta, and other life-threatening emergencies like eclampsia or premature delivery. A timely C-section is the safest way to protect both the mother and child from these risks.
Remla lives with her husband and his joint family in a modest rented house in Karachi. They pay PKR 7,000 for rent each month, along with utility bills that amount to PKR 7,000. Her husband works as a laborer and earns only PKR 18,000 per month, while her father-in-law contributes PKR 12,000 from his job as a security guard. Their combined income barely covers their everyday expenses. Additionally, the family has a loan of PKR 200,000, making it impossible for them to bear the cost of Remla’s surgery.
Remla said with teary eyes:
“I’m so scared of losing my baby because of my health issues and financial hardships. We can’t afford the surgery, and I worry every day. I ask you to help me bring my child safely into this world. Your support means everything to me.”
The thought of not being able to afford this necessary C-section scares Remla and her family. They long for the day when they can welcome the baby without fear of complications.
Give Charity today to help Remla during this critical time. Your support will not only save two precious lives but will also bring relief and hope to an entire family.
