Make Zohra’s First Delivery Safe with a C-Section

Zohra Amjad's Story
Zohra Amjad, a 28-year-old woman from Karachi, is awaiting the arrival of her first child. However, she is experiencing complications in her pregnancy. During a follow-up visit with her gynecologist, she heard shocking news. Her fetus is in a Cephalopelvic Disproportion (CPD) – a childbirth complication when the baby’s head is too large to fit through the mother’s pelvis. To ensure the safety of both the mother and the baby, her doctor strongly recommended a C-section. However, the cost of the C-section is beyond her family’s means.
If Zohra doesn’t undergo a C-section, she may face significant complications, including uterine rupture, fetal distress, and obstructed labor. Therefore, a timely C-section is necessary to deliver Zohra’s baby safely.
Zohra lives with her husband in a small house. Unfortunately, her husband is currently unemployed and actively looking for work, which means they have no stable income to rely on. They struggle to manage their daily expenses, and the cost of the C-section is simply beyond their means. The thought of not being able to afford the necessary C-section keeps Zohra’s entire family in constant worry. During this time of need, she contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.
With tears in her eyes, Zohra said:
“I have dreamed for so long of holding my baby in my arms. Now that the time is near, I fear for our lives because we can’t pay for this surgery. Kindly help me bring my child safely into this world.”
No parents should ever have to fear for their baby’s life simply because of their financial hardships. Your support can make all the difference, allowing her to embrace motherhood without the shadow of fear.
Give charity today to help Zohra welcome her baby safely and start this new chapter of her life with hope and joy.
