Mazhar Hussain's Story

Mazhar Hussain has been living a difficult life since he lost his leg in a traffic accident. He endures a lot of physical and mental pain daily. Besides depending on others to carry out even the most basic tasks, he also hasn’t been able to support his family financially. For him, every day is a battle. Please know that no matter how small or big your contribution is, it will make a  significant difference in his life. We request you to donate generously for Mazhar’s above knee prosthesis and help him walk again.

Mazhar Hussain, a 44-year-old resident of Sargodha, sustained multiple injuries in a traffic accident in 2018. His leg wound was the most severe. He was rushed to the hospital, and upon examination, the doctors found out that his left leg had been completely crushed. The doctor could not save his left leg and had to amputate it above knee level.

Mazhar Hussain was a local videographer before this tragedy struck him. Now, due to his disability, he is unable to earn a living. His family relies on his wife’s income who works as a healthcare provider. He finds it challenging to carry out even the most basic tasks. Mazhar came to Transparent Hands and asked us to provide him with an Above Knee Prosthesis. Mazhar Hussain needs this prosthesis to regain mobility. He expressed his distress with Transparent Hands as follows:

“Since the amputation, my life has taken a sad turn. I’m tired of being helpless. I will leave no stone unturned to get back on my feet and start supporting my family again. I can’t even help my wife at home because of my disability. Please assist me in regaining control of my life.”

We’re determined to help Mazhar Hussain get back on his feet now that his case has been registered with Transparent Hands. But we need your support to do so. We urge you to please donate generously for Mazhar’s Above Knee Prosthesis.
