Muhammad Raza's Story

Before we go into the depths of the horrors brought down upon Muhammad Raza and his family, we urge you to donate for his left below-knee prosthesis. He is in dire need of this prosthesis placement. As he is bearing a lot of discomfort in carrying out his daily routine.  Even a penny can go a long way.

Muhammad Raza, aged 13 years, a resident of Khanewal was suffering from congenital Anomalous Club Foot. It is the most common congenital abnormality in which a patient’s one leg is shorter than the other. Due to this deformity, he is unable to walk properly. As a solution to Raza’s illness, the doctors have suggested the placement of a left below-knee prosthesis. Unfortunately, his father is not able to pay for the prosthesis as his father is a factory worker  with a family of six members to feed. He merely earns PKR. 28,000 per month. In these circumstances, he cannot afford the prosthesis for his son. He narrates their struggle in the following words.

“I haven’t felt so helpless in my life when I saw that my child cannot even walk. It pains my heart to see boys his age  go to school and run in the fields, while my child sees all but cannot do anything. I wish to see my son go to school just like others”  –Maqsood Raza   (Muhammad Raza’s Father)

After a lot of distress, Maqsood Raza has registered his son’s case with Transparent Hands. We have assured him that we would arrange for his son’s surgery as soon as possible. Donate as much as you can to help Maqsood Raza get his son’s surgery done. Your donation can soothe the aching heart of a father.
