Muhammad Saqlain, aged 2, from Nankana Sahab, had an abnormal opening for urination since birth. Upon medical evaluation he was diagnosed with Hypospadias, which is a congenital disorder. Hypospadias disorder is characterised by the opening of the urethra located on the undersurface of the penis. The said disorder can be corrected with Urethroplasty and Muhammad Saqlain is advised to undergo it as well. As Muhammad Saqlain awaits Urethroplasty, unfortunately, his family is unable to bear the expenses of this procedure. His father shares their collective struggles as following:

I am a laborer by profession and for the past few years I am striving to help my son. I want him to recover from his congenital disorder as well. The doctor’s have advised a surgical procedure which I unfortunately can not afford. I earn PKR. 25,000 per month. I have to pay bills and provide for a family of six members that includes my wife and four children. Affording a surgical procedure is currently out of the question.”

Muhammad Saqlain awaits Urethroplasty. Luckily, now that he has been connected with Transparent Hands, your donations can make this procedure possible.
