Muhammad Usman Awaits Subcutaneous Mastectomy
Muhammad Usman's Story
Muhammad Usman, a 27-year-old man from Lahore, experiences progressive enlargement of his right breast as well as intermittent pain in the area. It has taken a heavy toll on his mental and emotional well-being. He consulted a doctor about his condition, who, after running some diagnostic tests and an ultrasound scan diagnosed Usman with Gynecomastia, a condition characterized by the abnormal enlargement of breast tissue in men. The doctor recommended a right Subcutaneous Mastectomy. However, the cost of the surgery is beyond the financial capacity of Usman.
This condition has turned Usman’s life into a daily struggle. Due to the excessive enlargement of his right breast, he has become extremely self-conscious and avoids social interactions. It has lowered his self-esteem, leaving him feeling isolated.
The surgery is essential to remove the excess tissue and restore his masculine chest contour. If Usman doesn’t undergo the surgery, his condition will continue to worsen, potentially leading to more physical discomfort and pain.
Usman lives in a two-room rented house with his six family members. He works at an old age home and earns PKR 20,000 monthly. His brother is a daily wage laborer, but the family’s insufficient monthly income barely covers the monthly rent of PKR 15000 and utility bills totaling PKR 4000. Due to their financial hardships, affording the costly surgery is challenging for them. In this time of need, Usman reached out to Transparent Hands and asked us for help.
Usman said in despair:
“Every time I look in the mirror, my worries increase. I just want to live without this constant discomfort and pain. I feel helpless as I can’t afford the surgery. Kindly help me.”
This surgery will help him reclaim his lost confidence and get rid of the pain and embarrassment. We ask you to open your hearts and donate generously to help Muhammad Usman undergo this surgery. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will help him regain his self-esteem and allow him to live with dignity and confidence. Please donate today.
