Muhammad Zohan's Story

Muhammad Zohan, a 4-year-old boy from Multan, has been struggling with blurry and dim vision since birth. Unlike other children of his age, he cannot see the world clearly. His eyes struggle to focus, making it difficult for him to engage in simple visual activities like recognizing faces, and playing with his toys. Determined to find a solution, his parents took him to a local hospital where they consulted a doctor. After a thorough evaluation and medical tests, the doctor diagnosed Zohan with a cataract in his left eye. In December 2024, he underwent surgery for his left eye, bringing hope to his family. His doctor has now advised Phaco + IOL surgery for his right eye to restore his vision completely. Sadly, the cost of the surgery is beyond his family’s reach.

If Zohan does not receive this surgery, his vision will continue to deteriorate, severely affecting his quality of life. Without treatment, the condition may lead to permanent blindness, taking away his ability to see and experience the beauty of the world around him. Zohan’s parents are extremely worried about these circumstances.

Zohan lives in a small rented house with his parents. His father, the sole provider for the family, works as a daily wage laborer and brings in just PKR 30,000 per month. They pay PKR 8000 for their house rent and PKR 2500 for utility bills, leaving them with barely enough to cover their daily expenses. Due to their financial limitations, paying for Zohan’s surgery is impossible for them. During this time of need, Zohan’s parents have turned to Transparent Hands for support.

His parents said with teary eyes:

“We just want our son to see the world clearly, and to live a normal childhood without struggling. Every parent dreams of seeing their child grow, play, and learn without obstacles, but Zohan’s vision problem is holding him back. Please help us give him the gift of sight so he can enjoy his life like other kids of his age.”

Zohan’s future depends on your kindness. With your generous donations, we can brighten his world and ensure he receives the necessary treatment. Your contributions can enable him to have a normal and healthy childhood, where he can see, learn, and explore without limitations.

Let’s join hands to restore his vision and open the doors to a brighter, and limitless future for him.

Muhammad Zohan's Story

Muhammad Zohan, a 4-year-old boy from Multan, had been struggling to see the world around him since birth. Walking around his home and playing with his toys was a significant challenge for him. Worried about his condition, his parents took him to a nearby hospital and consulted a doctor. After performing some medical tests, the doctor diagnosed Zohan with cataract in both of his eyes. With the support of Transparent Hands, Zohan underwent surgery for his left eye in February 2025. After some time, his doctor advised LMA+ IOL surgery for his right eye. However, Zohan’s family was unable to pay for his surgery.

Zohan lived in a modest home with his parents. His father, the sole provider for the family, worked as a daily wage laborer and made just PKR 30,000 per month. After paying for house rent and utility bills, they were left with nothing to save for medical expenses. At a young age, Zohan faced immense challenges due to his eye condition. Their financial constraints made it impossible for them to cover the cost of Zohan’s surgery. During this difficult time, Zohan reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for help.

On April 11, 2025, Zohan was admitted to Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Trust Hospital in Multan. His surgery was scheduled for April 12, 2025. Dr. Asif successfully performed his cataract surgery. After receiving post-operative care, Zohan was discharged in satisfactory condition on the same day after the surgery.

Zohan’s parents were overwhelmed with happiness and said:

“Before the surgery, our child struggled to see the things around him. Now, he is able to see our faces and play with his friends. This change is incredible and truly heartwarming. We are thankful to you for your kindness and generosity.”

Zohan’s life has significantly changed after surgery. He can now live his life with dignity and new strength.

His family is incredibly grateful to you for making a valuable difference in Zohan’s life.
