Muniba Awaits VSD Closure
Muniba Saleem's Story
Muniba Awaits VSD Closure. Before you dwell on the painful details of Muniba Saleem’s ailment, know that your help can make a huge change in her life. Therefore, we request you to kindly donate as much as you can and make a change in her life. Please be generous with your contributions for Muniba Saleem’s VSD Closure and save her heart.
Muniba Saleem, a 10 months old infant, a resident of Muzaffargarh, has been enduring the pain of repeated chest infections since her birth. She was born with a congenital defect known as Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). Her parents took her for a check-up. The doctor gave her symptomatic treatment but after some time the medicines stopped working. Over time, her condition worsened. After further evaluation, the Cardiologists advised Muniba to undergo Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) closure. Ventricular septal defect (VSD) closure surgery is a type of heart surgery. It’s done to close a hole between the left and right ventricles of the heart. But due to minimal financial resources, Muniba’s family couldn’t proceed with this surgery.
Muniba Saleem’s father is a laborer and he is the only caretaker of the family. He earns PKR. 10000 a month which is merely enough to provide ration for a family of three. He cannot afford the hefty amount of this procedure. A neighbour told him about Transparent Hands and they have been connected with us. We verified and registered Muniba’s case. Muniba’s grief stricken mother told us that:
“My beloved daughter is at the threshold of life and death. I cannot bear the sight of her suffering anymore. I feel helpless that I am unable to do anything for my precious child. Whoever is reading this, I request you to please donate for my daughter’s surgery.”
Luckily now that Muniba Saleem has been connected and registered with Transparent Hands, we are determined to help her but that is not possible without your support. As Muniba Awaits VSD Closure, we urge you to donate as much as you can for Muniba Saleem’s VSD Closure and save her heart.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
