Muhammad Nawaz's Story

Muhammad Nawaz, a 46-year-old man from Lahore, has been suffering from a painful and persistent condition for the past three months. It all began when he underwent a tooth extraction in the upper right part of his mouth. Instead of healing, the extraction site remained open, painful, and swollen. Over time, the discomfort grew, making it difficult for him to eat or even speak properly. After a consultation and undergoing tests, Nawaz was diagnosed with Maxillary Osteomyelitis. It is a serious bone infection in the upper jaw that developed at the site of the non-healing tooth socket. The doctor has advised him to undergo a resection surgery, a procedure necessary to remove the infected bone and prevent the spread of the infection.

If left untreated, this condition can worsen. It may lead to severe complications such as bone loss, facial disfigurement, and systemic infection. Unfortunately, the cost of surgery is far beyond what Nawaz and his family can afford.

Nawaz lives in a rented home with his wife and four children. He is unemployed and is now fully dependent on his two sons. They are daily wage laborers and earn just PKR 30,000 per month. Out of this modest income, they barely cover the house rent of PKR 13,000 and utility bills of PKR 7,000. It leaves little to no room for additional medical expenses. The financial hardships have left the family distressed and helpless.

With a heavy heart, Nawaz shared his emotions as follows:

“This pain has taken over my life. I can’t eat, speak, or sleep properly. I don’t want to be a burden on my sons, but I have no way to afford this treatment. I just want relief and a chance to live normally again.”

Your support can bring that relief. With your generous donations, Nawaz can undergo the surgery to recover and live pain-free. Together, we can help him overcome this infection and reclaim his health and dignity. Donate today.
