Panna awaits Cataract Removal. Before you read the facts of Panna’s illness, keep in mind that your contributions can help her lessen the anguish she has been through. We request you to contribute as much as you can because we need your support to help Panna with her eyesight.
Panna, a fifty four years old resident of Karachi, has been suffering from loss of sight and discomfort in her right eye for the last six months. Due to discomfort and pain she was taken to a hospital for consultation. The doctor gave her symptomatic treatment for relief but it did not work well for her and her eyesight deteriorated badly. Upon consultation she was diagnosed with right eye Cataract. Panna lives with her husband, their son and his family. Her son works as a laborer and is the sole earner of the family without any other financial assistance. In such circumstances it was already very difficult for him to manage everyday expenses. He was struggling to provide for his family with the most basic necessities. Now that his mother has fallen prey to this disease, he is in distress.
Panna is now advised to undergo a right eye Phaco with foldable IOL. But, due to less income and no other financial resources, she cannot afford the surgery. A neighbour told Panna’s husband about Transparent Hands. We have now registered her case. She shared her distress with Transparent Hands in the following manner:
“With this extremely blurry and poor vision I can hardly manage any chores. It has become extremely uncomfortable. I am gradually becoming cranky too. I get very annoyed by this blurry vision, I cannot bear this pain and discomfort in this old age. Please help me.”
Luckily for Panna, now that she has been connected with Transparent Hands, We are determined to bring light back to Panna’s life and that is only possible with your donations. Panna awaits Cataract Removal. We request you to Please contribute generously and help clear Panna’s vision. Your contribution can bring comfort back in her life.
