Abdul Qadir 's Story

Meet Abdul Qadir, a 45-year-old man from Hyderabad, who has been facing challenges due to his illness. For two years, Abdul Qadir has been experiencing pain due to a lump in his left inguinal region. He underwent surgery for left inguinal hernia but his symptoms reappeared, causing intense pain and discomfort. Activities such as sitting or lifting objects have become increasingly difficult for him. Recently, he visited a doctor at a local hospital. After performing an ultrasound scan and some lab tests, the doctor diagnosed Abdul Qadir with left inguinal hernia. It occurs when tissue, such as part of the intestine, protrudes through a weak spot in the abdominal muscles. To treat this issue, the doctor has advised mesh hernioplasty. However, the cost of the surgery is out of his financial capacity.

If Abdul Qadir’s illness is left untreated, his condition may lead to serious complications such as a strangulated hernia, where the blood supply to the intestine is cut off. This may cause severe pain, infection, and potentially life-threatening damage to his intestines, which will require emergency surgery.

Abdul Qadir lives in a small rented house with his wife and three children. He is the sole breadwinner in the family, works as a daily wage laborer and makes just PKR 28,000 per month. Supporting four family members while also managing a house rent of PKR 8,000 and utility bills of PKR 5,000 is a significant challenge for Abdul Qadir. His household expenses leave him with nothing at the end of the month. His financial situation is stretched thin and he simply can’t afford to pay for his surgery.

Abdul Qadir said in despair:

“This illness is affecting my ability to work and provide for my family. I just want to get rid of this issue, but financial obstacles come in my way. I wish to live a life free from pain and discomfort. I feel helpless and I have no option other than to seek help from you. Kindly support me.”

Abdul Qadir’s life has been badly affected due to his illness. He desperately needs your support in overcoming this disease and leading a life with new hope and courage.

We ask you to be generous and donate to his life-changing surgery.

Abdul Qadir 's Story

Abdul Qadir Magsi Baloch, a 45-year-old man from Hyderabad, had been living with constant pain for the past two years due to a lump in his left inguinal region. Initially, he underwent surgery for a left inguinal hernia, but his symptoms returned. With time, the pain became unbearable, making daily activities such as sitting, bending, or lifting objects extremely difficult. Deeply concerned, Abdul Qadir visited a local hospital. After a thorough examination, he was diagnosed with a left inguinal hernia. To correct this condition and prevent future complications, the doctor recommended mesh hernioplasty. Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery was far beyond Abdul Qadir’s financial means.

Abdul Qadir lives in a small rented house with his wife and three children. As a daily wage laborer, he earns around PKR 28,000 per month—barely enough to cover rent, utility bills and grocery expenses. Saving for a costly surgical procedure was simply impossible. During his search for help, he turned to Transparent Hands. Upon hearing his story, we promptly registered his case and assured him of our full support.

On April 9, 2025, Abdul Qadir was admitted to Isra University Welfare Hospital in Hyderabad. The next day, Dr. Waseem Memon successfully performed the mesh hernioplasty. The procedure went smoothly, and Abdul Qadir was carefully monitored after the surgery. He was discharged on April 11, 2025, in a stable condition.

Abdul Qadir shared his feelings with us as follows: “I was living in pain every single day. After the surgery, I feel like a huge burden has been lifted. I can move freely again without discomfort.”

Now, Abdul Qadir is recovering and eager to return to work with new strength. His life has changed for the better, and he can now look forward to a future free of pain.

Abdul Qadir and his family extend their heartfelt gratitude to you for supporting his surgery and enabling him to lead a life without pain and fear.
