As a tailor, he is the sole breadwinner for his family, which includes his wife and three children. He lives in a small house in Pakpattan. With a monthly income of approximately PKR 30,000, Zafar struggles to make ends meet. The burden of utility bills amounting to PKR 15,000 and a loan of PKR 30,000 only compound his financial crisis, leaving him unable to afford the cost of an artificial leg that could transform his life.
