Sabira Mubashir's Story

Sabira Mubashir, a 49-year-old resident of Multan, is currently facing the challenges of cataract in her left eye, causing her significant vision difficulties. The doctor has recommended a specialized treatment called left phaco and intraocular lens (IOL) surgery to restore her eyesight and improve her quality of life.

Sabira Mubashir has been suffering from this eye problem for the past year. The discomfort and inconvenience caused by the cataract have led the doctor to prescribe eye surgery, as this condition is causing her serious shortsightedness.

Sabira Mubashir lives in her own 3-marla house in Multan with her husband and two sons and two daughters. Her husband is the sole breadwinner of the family, working on daily wages and earning just PKR 30,000 per month. This limited income is barely enough to cover the household expenses, school fees, and utility bills, leaving no room for the surgical expenses required to address Sabira’s eye condition.
