Samreen Awaits Safe Delivery
Samreen Bashir's Story
Samreen Bashir, a 19-year-old resident of Karachi, is facing a challenging situation as she prepares for the birth of her second child. Samreen had been diligently attending medical checkups throughout her pregnancy, and during one of these appointments, her doctor recommended a C-section delivery due to her previous history of surgeries. Given the risks involved, the doctor deemed it necessary to ensure the safe delivery of the baby.
Living in a small house in Karachi with her husband and one child, Samreen’s financial circumstances have made it difficult for her to afford the necessary medical procedures. Her husband works as a storekeeper and earns a monthly income of only PKR 33,000. This amount is barely sufficient to cover their daily expenses, utility bills, and a significant loan of PKR 500,000 that they are already struggling to repay.
Samreen said it in a depressed tone:
“I humbly request your support to alleviate the financial burden and ensure a safe delivery for me and my baby. Your contribution can make a world of difference in our lives.”
The cost of the C-section procedure further exacerbates their financial burden. With limited funds, Samreen is unable to afford the surgery, leaving her and her unborn child at risk. The stress of the situation is taking its toll on Samreen’s well-being, as she is unable to access proper healthcare, nutrition, and medication.
Samreen is desperately seeking assistance and has reached out to Transparent Hands for support. Your generous contribution could make a world of difference in her life and ensure a safe delivery for her and her baby. Samreen Bashir's Story
Samreen Bashir, a 19-year-old woman from Karachi, was preparing for the birth of her second child. Her previous pregnancy had been challenging, ending in a C-section. She received a consultation from a doctor, who recommended another C-section to avoid potential complications and risks to both Samreen and her unborn child. The cost of a second C-section was beyond her financial means, and she was extremely worried about bringing her child safely into the world.
Her husband is a storekeeper and his meager monthly income barely covers the living expenses, including the cost of utility bills and groceries. Understanding the urgency of her situation, Transparent Hands stepped in to ensure that Samreen could have the necessary surgery without delay.
