Muhammad Sanan's Story

A deadly congenital disease is threatening to snatch Sanan’s childhood and future away from him. He doesn’t even know how this disease will affect his future. We urge you to donate for Sanan’s Open heart Surgery.

Muhammad Sanan, a seven-year-old resident of Mardan, is dealing with a deadly congenital disease. Initially, he had multiple symptoms, including shortness of breath and cyanosis. Upon consultation, the doctors recommended multiple diagnostic tests. After the tests, Sanan was diagnosed with  Transposition of the great arteries (TGA) and Ventricular septal defect (VSD).

Transposition of the great arteries (TGA) is a type of congenital heart defect. In this condition, the two major arteries that carry blood away from the heart aren’t connected as they should be. A ventricular septal defect (VSD) is a defect of the heart in which there is a hole in the wall (septum) that separates the two lower chambers (ventricles) of the heart. The doctor advised him to undergo an Open Heart Surgery and CP Shunt. Sanan had a left BT shunt placed earlier in  a public hospital but they could not secure a date for the second procedure. Now they have come to us for help.

Sanan’s father is a rickshaw driver and earns a meager amount monthly. They have no financial support from any friends or relatives. They completely depend on their  father’s income for their basic needs. In such circumstances and with a family of six to support, it is impossible for them to afford the cost of this procedure.

“We are struggling and going to every door we could find to ask for help but no one heard our pleas. Only Transparent Hands is willing to help us. Please help them cure my son.” Sanan’s sorrowed mother.

The family is in extreme despair since they have no other means to get their son a good treatment. Your support can decide the fate of this poor child. Please donate for Sanan’s Open Heart Surgery without any delay.
